The aim of the quality policy of NWU is continuous improvement in quality to support the vision to be a pre-eminent university driven by the pursuit of knowledge and innovation. Improvement in quality is not an event but rather a continuous process.
In view of this vision, the Faculty pursues the aim to improve existing quality processes and develop new ones in order to ensure continuous improvement in teaching-learning, research and the implementation of expertise/community involvement.
In the Quality Manual of the Faculty there is a description of
- Quality assurance, which comprises the arrangements the Faculty put in place for students to achieve the standards of the Faculty;
- Quality control, which consists of the detailed processes ensuring that these arrangements are effective.
