Maths Olympiad & Math and Stats Fun Hour

Mathematics Olympiad
A Mathematics Olympiad is a prestigious and challenging competition that focuses on testing the mathematical problem-solving skills of students. The Olympiad aims to stimulate and promote interest in mathematics, encourage critical thinking, and foster the development of creative problem-solving techniques.

There will be two categories for the Olympiad, the Junior Olympiad and the Senior Olympiad. Participants will be presented with a set of problems that require creative thinking, deep mathematical understanding, and innovative approaches to solve. These problems often go beyond standard curriculum and textbooks, focusing on problem-solving techniques, mathematical creativity, and the ability to devise elegant and original solutions.

Participants will be given a limited amount of time to solve the set of problems and there are amazing prizes to be won.

Fun hour
A “games hour” typically refers to an hour-long period during which groups will engage in a variety of games that require creative mathematical solutions.
There are prizes to be won.
