HOW TO ATTEND ONLINE CURRICULUM CONTROL

Before attempting to enter a MS Teams meeting, follow these steps:

1. Open the MS Teams sign in webpage in your browser (https://www.microsoft.com/en-za/microsoft-teams/log-in)
2. Click on the sign in option OR download app for your computer OR download app for your smartphone. If working on a computer you do not need to download the app, you can just use the browser option. If you are using your smartphone, you MUST download the app.
3. Login to Teams via any of these options by using the following credentials (this is very important that you use these credentials):

• At this option, Use the following: studentnumber@student365.msfed.nwu.ac.za e.g. 12345678@student365.msfed.nwu.ac.za

• A second screen will appear, choose the “mobile login”option:

• Fill in your NWU password and click on sign in.

• You are now logged in to Teams and have access to NWU Teams meetings.

4. Keep teams open in your browser/app.
5. Go back to the Faculty website where the links per subject group for Curriculum Control are listed.
6. Click on the name of the specific campuses subject group’s session that you want to attend (in the time that it is being presented).
7. You will be allowed access to the meeting.
8. Ask your host (a lecturer) for help if you need help.
9. Log off after being helped.
10. Continue to online registration or with the student request procedure.
