October is Breast Cancer  Awareness month

During 9-11 October 2023 the BOSS lab hosted a cancer awareness activity on the NWU Potchefstroom Campus in collaboration with CANSA. We had an information table where students and staff could obtain extra information about the prevention and early detection of not only breast cancer but also prostate, testicular, and cervical cancer. We also held a CANSA Shavathon to raise awareness and funds for those fighting the disease either as a patient or through doing research. Click here to view some pictures of this event.
