We are working together with Prof J. O. Sass from the Bonn-Rheinn Sieg University of Applied Sciences in Germany to determine the effect of variants in the glycine N-acyltransferase gene on isovalerylglycine conjugation. This is a less toxic metabolite that is formed in isovaleryl acidemia patients.  2019 - present
