Information, computer, and cybersecurity have become critical national security concerns for many countries and significant issues for organisations worldwide. The continuously increasing number of discovered vulnerabilities, exploitation, and presence on Internet-connected devices creates a highly complex scenario that requires comprehensive solutions addressing technical, social, and regulatory challenges.

Consequently, the primary objective of the Research in Information Security and Computer Security (RISCS) Group is to conduct foundational and applied research aimed at developing methodologies, products, and services that help ensure adequate levels of security and human awareness.
