Registration and Orientation (R&O) is divided into faculty based programmes and a curriculum control and registration process presented by your faculty on your specific campus of study, as well as a programme presented by Student Life on your specific campus. Please ensure that you follow your official campus based NWU R&O programme. The faculty based R&O programme for 2026 is presented below. All students at the faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences must attend all faculty sessions. The Mathematics Induction Course is a separate programme. All students who take any the following mathematics modules as part of their degree must also attend this course: MTHS111, MTHS114 (MICfm1/4).
