Honours in Applied Radiation Science and Technology

BSc Honours in Applied Radiation Science and Technology

All CARST Students are required to undertake a Research project with a Staff Member.

The Project runs from January to December each year and students must submit the Project (of minimum 40 pages and maximum 60 pages,) to Supervisor for Examination by 20 November of same year of Registration.

Hounours Project carries 120 Credits.

Qualifications in the programme

Admission Requirements

A candidate with a BSc or its equivalent (as approved by Senate) with majors in two of the following disciplines can apply: Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Other majors with second year level Mathematics will also be considered. Admission may also be gained through the principle of RPL (Recognition of prior Learning) with proven record of appropriate expertise, as approved by Senate.

Duration

Candidates for the BSc Honours degree in Applied Radiation Science and Technology must be registered for a minimum period of two semesters of full-time study registration.
