Visas
Requirements for visitor’s visas differ from country to country (see current list below) and the requirements are subject to change. As each application is treated as an individual case and you should make enquiries with your nearest South African mission or consulate to see whether you are required to apply for a visa.

South African Customs Traveller Declaration
All delegates travelling to South Africa are required to complete the South African Revenue Service (SARS) Customs Online Traveller Declaration before arriving in the country.
Please note: In this context, SARS refers to the South African Revenue Service and is not related to a medical condition or health declaration.
The declaration must be completed online no earlier than one day (24 hours) before your scheduled arrival in South Africa.
Delegates are encouraged to complete the declaration before departing for South Africa, where possible, to help facilitate a smooth arrival process.

Information regarding South African electrical outlets
The South African electricity supply has the following ratings - 250 Volt earthed, 13 Ampere and maximum appliance power of 3,600 Watts. South African round 3-Pin plugs are required if you wish to bring electrical appliances along with you. Plug adapters can be purchased before travelling to South Africa or they are readily available at the Airports and stores across South Africa.
