Welcome: From September 25 to 27 we hope to welcome you at the fifth instalment in a series of workshops on pure and applied mathematics. The theme for the 2019 workshop is Functional Analysis and its Applications. Please use the buttons in the panel on the left to navigate to the various subpages.

Registration fee: There will be no registration fee. However, in case you want to bring an accompanying person to the workshop dinner, you will be charged for possible additional expenses at registration.

  • Deadline for registration: Extended to August 25
  • Abstract submission deadline: September 8
Student funding: Some funding is available for the partial support of a limited number of postgraduate students from South African universities. Such support will consistof a contribution to the cost of accommodation. Please contact the organizers for details.
 
Social events:
  • Aardklop: The workshop will run concurrently with the Aardklop cultural festival. Details on this festival may be found here: https://aardklop.co.za/
  • Workshop dinner: The workshop dinner will be in the form of a Mediterranean style dinner, and will take place on the evening of 26 September in the roof garden of building F1.
