I am a Professor of Agricultural Economics with more than two decades of teaching, research, and policy engagement in Environmental Health, Development Economics, Health Economics, Food Security, and Applied Micro-Econometrics. My expertise has developed through wide international engagements and competitive grants from international organisations including AERC, Poverty and Economic Policy (PEP) Network, International Foundation for Science (IFS), ECOWAS, and Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI). I also won international research excellence awards from Global Development Network (GDN) in 2004 and Support-Africa International (Germany) in 2005. My research is projected within the general specialities of Environmental, Health and Development Economics. These truly reflect a strong commitment to address pressing developmental challenges in low- and middle-income countries, particularly within African contexts. My academic contributions have demonstrated extensive engagement with multidisciplinary themes, including child nutrition, healthcare utilization, maternal and reproductive health, poverty, food insecurity, agricultural development and environmental sustainability. I am recently committed to evaluation of economic issues affecting vulnerable populations in conflict and displacement contexts through insightful application of advanced econometric models.  Beyond scholarly publication, my research has demonstrated significant commitment to translating research findings into policy-relevant recommendations capable of informing governments, development partners, and humanitarian organizations.
