Crop Science

The agriculture programme at the Mahikeng Campus of the North-West University develops well-rounded graduates equipped to contribute to the agricultural sector in South Africa. The programme provides multidisciplinary training in agronomy, soil science and horticultural science, with an emphasis on sustainable crop production, modern agricultural technologies and responsible soil management. The two programmes share a common foundation in the agricultural and natural sciences.
