The Mathematics Olympiad is a highlight of GeeXpo 2025, organised by the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at NWU Vanderbijlpark Campus. It offers high school learners the chance to challenge their mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills in a friendly yet competitive environment.
Alongside the Olympiad, the Stats Fun Hour provides a more relaxed and engaging way to explore mathematics through games, puzzles, and interactive challenges open to all attendees.

Entry Categories:
- Junior Olympiad: Grades 8-9
- Senior Olympiad: Grades 10-12
Stats Fun Hour
- Open to all visitors, the Stats Fun Hour is designed to promote mathematics and statistics through hands-on, enjoyable activities. These may include:
- Logic puzzles
- Maths board games
- Fun quests
- Participation is casual, and no pre-registration is required.
How to Enter
- Schools can register learners for the Olympiad using the Maths Olympiad School Group Registration Form.
- Learners not joining as part of a school group may register individually using the Maths Olympiad Individual Registration Form.
- All entries must be submitted by the registration deadline of 10 October 2025.
- Each school is responsible for arranging transport and supervision for their learners.
