FNAS Liaison Officer PoE 2022

The PoE for Ms Ashleigh Pieterse, Senior Liaison Officer for the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences can be found here below. The PoE is divided into two sections, namely (1) an online survey where staff from FNAS where asked to rate the service they received from Ms Pieterse, and (2) each KPI with links to examples of the activities discussed in the performance appraisal. 


Online Survey:

An online survey was sent to all FNAS staff. The feedback shows that all respondents feel the service they received from me during 2022 was excellent or exceptional. Many highlighted instances where I assisted them, and they felt I went above and beyond. When asked how I could improve, most of the respondents stated that I do not need to improve and that I should continue as I currently am. Only one respondent rated my performance as “satisfactory” but commented that they did so as they had only worked here for 1 month and therefore could not provide a deserving rating. The comments on improvements by only 2 respondents where furthermore not applicable as these comments included 1. That the SACs have a small budget (the SAC budget is the responsibility of Student Life, not the Faculty Liaison Officer) and 2. That they wanted more communication (my internal notices surpassed what was agreed upon in my performance agreement. Furthermore, I can only communication when there is something worthy of communicating).
