Welcome to the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences

The School consists of the subject group Mathematics and Applied Mathematics and the subject group Statistics. Students can choose from a variety of programmes, each combining modules from these two subject groups with modules from other subject groups offered inside and outside the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences.

On undergraduate level a three year BSc degree is offered. After completion of the BSc degree, the postgraduate qualifications BSc Honours, MSc and PhD are available consecutively to students, with the latter two degrees being offered through the research entity for  Pure and Applied Analytics.
