In order to gain admission into the four year undergraduate BArt et Scien Urban and Regional Planning, students must comply with the following requirements:
- On grade 12 level, students must receive a level 5 (60% - 69%) for Mathematics.
- Students must write a selection test which is comprised of mathematics and aptitude characteristics.
- The NWU Applications Office will inform prospective students of when this test must be written after the student has formally applied.

PLEASE NOTE: Applications close 30 June annually. Late applications will be considered on merit. The subject group only accepts a maximum of 35 students.
